That's a pretty nice design. I like how it uses magnets. You can use them anywhere that a magnet could go. I can see it being used in places or situations like if you were working on a car or a welding table or whatever. You are not limited to just using it with that plate on a tabletop. It's more versatile than normal helping hands.

You should always wipe any parts down to remove sand paper debris and powdered filament otherwise you will not get the strongest bond. Usually rubbing alcohol will also remove most oils and debris well and leave a good bonding surface. For the strongest bond with any adhesive PREP the surface leave it clean.

Again I have not seen any of your other videos but this kinda puts me off as it appears your trying to be professional. Also your bench its self is looking pretty bad with all kinds of stains. I understand if you don't have any space to set up both a work bench and a place to film. Maybe cover it with some contact paper that will be easily changed when it starts to get bad.

@@3DJapan Oh I get it. Every horizontal surface I own has crap on it. I reread my comment and it sounds like I was more about the quality of your bench over the stuff on it. I really meant that to be the other way around. I was only trying to offer constructive criticism. I am sorry if It come across that I was trying to say" You need to go out and buy better equipemnt/bench" Not at all what I was meaning. I was only suggesting a very economical way to improve your existing equipment. When I said about you back ground being a green screen. I thought it was your actual studio. I was very impressed with that. You did a top notch job of making it look like it was your physical background. This is why didn't understand that you had such great looking studio but the bench had so much cluder on it. For me this was a distraction from the great content you have in the video. I guess for me its the thought of "How serious can I take this creater if he cant take 5 minutes to clean off his bench" Now, I just looked at almost all your videos from the last couple of years. You only have a couple of videos without your bench. These videos have done much better in the view-to-like ratio than the rest of your videos. You have great content. And per experts, you should be getting a 3.75-4% view-to-like ratio. What I see is most of yours in the 2% range. I truly believe the way your bench looks, is hurting you as a creator. Maybe you don't care, IDK. But I have a challenge for you: For your next 20 videos, have a completely clean bench besides what you're going to use for the video. Will this increase your subs and Like-to-view ratio? IDK but it cant hurt you.
